I think we can all agree that other than winning, the best part about of watching NFL games are the individual styles of each player. From Cam Newton to Deandre Hopkins, each NFL player enters Sunday with some serious drip and the NFL decided to tap into and make their fashion a little more meaningful. The campaign, My Cause My Cleats, started in 2016 and has grown to be a players’ favorite.

“One of the great NFL traditions is how our players passionately support important causes in their communities and around the globe every year,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement. “They are incredibly creative by nature so we are not surprised how they are seizing the opportunity this week with inspiring expressions of their charitable commitments on their cleats, online and through social media.”

My Cause, My Cleats allows each individual player to express their favorite charities or foundations through their cleats. I have searched far and wide (while watching Netflix shows) to find some of the best-designed cleats in the NFL! As a disclaimer, we are not ranking the importance of charities and foundations here at Sideline Brief, we are strictly admiring design! So, without further ado, here are your top ten!

  1. Patriots’ Head Coach, Bill Belichick decided to join in the fun and showcase his own shoes.
  2. Duron Harmon chose Autism Speaks.
  3. Broncos Von Miller chose his foundation, Von Vision, which helps underprivileged kids receive vision care.
  4. Seahawks, Bradley McDonald, chose the Make A Wish Foundation.
  5. Browns Duke Johnson chose Anger Management/RAKE
  6. Browns Larry Ogunjobi for Childhood Obesity/ American Heart Association
  7. Panthers James Bradberry for Arthritis Foundation
  8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Garrison Sanborn for Sally Kabel and childhood cancer.

  9. Steelers Jesse James for THON
  10. Panthers Cam Newton for Cam Newton Foundation.

This was more strenuous than I thought it would be! If I didn’t choose the right ones, let me know who should be replaced!!!
