Florida State head coach, Leonard Hamilton, is always straight forward in his thinking and media answers; this was no different.

Stating that he’s removing feelings from the equation, Coach Hamilton, discussed the problems with paying players; as always, its bigger than “elite” players. Hamilton stresses the different factors that goes into making sure each NCAA player is compensated fairly and just… men AND women. But the biggest question he had was “who decides what and who an elite player is?”, is it someone who is a star throughout HS? or do they qualify after their freshman year? What if someone has a breakout year as a sophomore? How do you then adjust your budget for him/her?

And he’s not finished.

Check out these questions and more in a one on one interview with the head coach.
